Don H. Greyerbiehl

February 3, 1927 – February 12, 2012

Don H. Greyerbiehl, 85, of Charlevoix, Michigan, formerly of East Jordan, served in the United States Navy during World War II. He entered the Navy at age 15 and was a plank owner of USS Franklin, serving on the carrier’s first commissioned voyage.

Following the war, Don earned his GED and graduated from Detroit Business University. He worked in banking from 1961 until retiring as an assistant vice president and comptroller in 1984. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, the Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was survived by his wife Margaret, children, grandchildren, and brother Richard.
