The dedication of the plaques will take place on Veterans Day, November 11, 2013 at Memorial Park in Stuart Florida.

I heard there are two more plaques available. How does one go about getting one of them? I represent the Marine Ellis Van Vleet Family who died on the USS Franklin on March 15, 1945. He was from the town of Apalachicola FL. They have a Three Man Statue Memorial Park here. His brother Louis Van Vleet is interested in placing something there for his brother.

Hi Holly, sorry I just found this message. I will be at the reunion in Texas next week and can check on the status of the plaques that may be available. Please contact me directly at hammd78@gmail.com if this is something your family is interested in looking into. Thanks, Darren Hamm
