I live in a retirement community in Williamsburg. Was only a kid during WWII but remember all those great songs. I am working to produce a WWII CD of songs for the residents in this retirement community. I am MOST interested in learning more about the parodies that bandmaster Saxe Dowell wrote and his band sang to keep up morale after the bomb hit. I have words to OLD GRAY MARE, but understand there were others like DONT FENCE ME IN. I would appreciate any leads. I am completely technically incompetent and probably will never be able to find my way back to this site, so if you can help, send a reply to me at rcabell@dhova.com
